are currently being offered:

First Peter: Learn how to focus on hope in any
earthly situation. Room 102.

Reading the Bible for all it's worth: Understand
scripture more clearly and apply it to your
life. Room 112/113

Book of Acts - Life Change Series: Study the
early years of the church as told by Luke.

News Story Raise Money For CVSM Every Time You Grocery Shop
Clear Vision Student Ministries is excited to
have partnered with Schnuck's and E-scrip to
raise money for its ministry. Here's how it
works: Get a Schnuck's card from Dave, activate
it and Schnuck's will donate a percentage of
your sale every time you shop simply by scanning
your card. Please help us today by picking up
your card and heading to Schnuck's.
News Story Be a Prayer Warrior for Clear Vision Student Ministries
Every Wednesday night from 6:10 to 6:30 p.m.
Clear Vision Student Ministries will host a
prayer time before cell groups. Adults and
students are welcome to attend.
News Story Volunteers Needed for Visitation Ministry
Your help is needed with a ministry that will
bless members who are unable to attend
worship due to illness, infirmity or other
struggles. To make a flower bouquet donation,
use the envelopes located in both entry foyers
and drop them in the offering or turn them in to
the office. If you would like to join the
Visitation Ministry as an individual or team,
call the church office at (314) 821-1332.
News Story Save Your Food Labels for Show Me
The women's Wednesday morning Bible study is
collecting labels and box tops for Show Me
Christian Youth Home. This is a simple way to
help out another ministry. Please save the
following items and place them in the marked
bowl in the back foyer of the church:

*Front panel of Campbell's products
*Bar codes from Best Choice brands
*Box Tops for Education symbols off General
Mills products.

Show Me has been able to purchase many school
supplies over the years through this
collection. Thanks for your support.
News Story Puppet Helpers Needed
KRCC is looking for an individual to assist our
puppet team director on Wednesday nights from
6:15 to 6:45 p.m. Responsibilities include
helping kids prepare for practice and then
helping during practice. If interested, contact
the church office at (314) 821-1332.
News Story KRCC Prayer Chain Booklets Ready for Pick-up
KRCC's 2008 prayer chain booklet is complete. If
you signed up to be on the prayer chain, whether
via e-mail or phone, please pick up your booklet
in the Welcome Center in the front foyer on
Sunday.

News Story Wild Wacky Wednesday Nights Returns Jan. 16
Beginning Jan. 16, Wild Wacky Wednesday Nights
presents "How Magestic is Your Name." Join us
from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the fellowship hall this
spring semester as we learn amazing things about
who God is through a study of His names.
News Story New Adult Bible Study Classes Begin Jan. 20
The following adult Bible study classes meet at
9 a.m. beginning Sunday, Jan. 20:

"Foundations": A six-month track geared toward
new members and those interested in becoming
members at KRCC.

"Recovering Biblical Manhood and Womanhood":
Learn what the word teach about the roles of men
and women in society, in the home and within the
family of God.

"A Walk Through the Book of Acts": Find out what
happens after Christ ascends, how the early
church started and functioned, what role
missions plays in the spread of the Gospel and
much more in this study continued from the fall
semester.

"Insights for Living a Bold Christian Life":
Delve into I Peter, a book full of Godly wisdom
that will equip you to live boldly as a
passionate follower of Christ.

"Life is a Highway": This study of the Book of
Romans uncovers what words like "justification"
and "sanctification" mean so you can understand
your relationship with Christ fully.

News Story New CVU Semester Begins Jan. 20
The following CVU classes will be offered
beginning Sunday, Jan. 20:

"Stories Told By Jesus": This class for junior
and senior high students will focus on the
parables of Christ and what they teach us about
the kingdom of heaven and ourselves.

"Rediscovering Biblical Manhood": This class for
senior high students age 16 and older will
discuss what it means to be a man or woman, what
God has to say about these roles and how one can
be a more Biblical man/woman.

Be sure to pick up your tax statements. They will be available in the back foyer on Sundays.
News Story Join One of the New Wednesday Night Small Groups Starting in February
Our small groups that meet on Wednesday evenings
from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. are starting the
following new studies. Child care is available.

"Lies Women Believe and the Truth That Sets Them
Free: This 10-week study, open to ladies of all
ages, married or single, will begin Feb. 6. The
cost of the book and workbook is $24.

A new small group will begin Feb. 13 called "The
DNA of Relationships." This marriage enrichment
study will be taught by pastor Glenn.

Ladies, now is the time to register for the True Woman Ladies Conference, to take place Oct. 9-11 in Chicago. News Story Junior High Mission Trip to Chicago is Scheduled for April 24-27
Junior high students and their parents are invited to participate in the Junior High Mission Trip to Chicago April 24-27. The group will be serving the Salvation Army in downtown Chicago. The cost of the trip is $50. Call the church office at (314) 821-1332 for more information or to register.
